Tig Welding, otherwise known as GTAW, is generally used to weld exotic material like stainless steel, aluminum, copper, titanium and critical welds that must be flawless such as aircraft engine parts. Tig welding offers the user the greatest amount of flexibility to weld the widest range of material.
Ralph C. Royer holds an AWS Wedling Educators Certificate for training at your facility. As well as an AWS C.W.I Liscense for certifying your welders when the time comes.
At RCR, we have the tools and decades experience designing for products production. Send us your concept, a napkin sketch will do. Let us help your company move to the next level. Consulting on an hourly or daily basis is available. Have RCR in early to help with designing for production to get your company off the startup page. We will design or modify a concept to be economically manufactured to maximise your success and thus ours. Years of experience have shown us the laws of diffusion of integration. Let us be a crucial part of your success.
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
Here at RCR we have put our water jet through it's paces cutting a multitude of different materials, metal being the most common, but also wood, paper, rubber, foam, fiberglass, acrylic, granite, marble, limestone, tool steel, tile and plastic. Pretty much the only things we can't cut are tempered glass, diamonds, and certain types of ceramic. Water Jet rapidly removes a 0.30" kerf with waterpreasure and abrasive using a very accurate CNC controller resolution or accuracy is about 0.005". RCR can cut several inches thick in armor plating or layers of shim stock in a frame with minimal waste of material saving you production costs. Unlike laser or plasma cutting there is never a H.A.Z. or Heat Affected Zone in Water Jet cutting.
Welding is a fabrication or sculptural process that joins materials, usually metals, by causing fusion, which is distinct from lower temperature metal-joining techniques such as brazing and soldering, which do not melt the base metal. In addition to melting the base metal, a filler material is often added to the joint to form a pool of molten material (the weld pool) that cools to form a joint that can be as strong as the base material.
